Perth Hills Bushfire Preparation

Fire doesn't negotiate.
Fuel loads do.

The one thing you control before summer is how much fuel is sitting on your block. Fire Zone handles the slashing and clearing so your property goes into the season ready, not hoping.

Why It Matters

The bush doesn't clear itself

Living in the Hills means living with fuel load. Every year it builds, every spring the Shire notice lands in the letterbox, and every summer the stakes are real. The window to get on top of it is now, not December.

The Shire Notice

Firebreak and fuel load notices aren't suggestions. Miss the compliance deadline and you're up for fines, and still left with the work to do. We get your block compliant before the inspector drives past.

The Fuel Load

Long grass, leaf litter and overgrown scrub decide how a fire behaves on your property. Reducing fuel is the single biggest thing you control. It's the difference between a fire that passes and one that takes hold.

The Job Itself

On acreage, this isn't a weekend with the whipper snipper. It's heavy, hot, time-eating work. We've got the gear and the know-how to knock it over properly, so you don't spend October flogging yourself.

Coming 2027
Why Fire Zone Exists

We were here in 2014

When the Parkerville fire came through, fifty-seven families in our community lost their homes. Ours wasn't one of them. Not because we were smarter, or better prepared.

The property next door was an old horse riding school. Grazed, slashed, open ground. The fuel was low, the fire lost its legs, and the firefighters had ground they could actually defend. Their work saved our home. The cleared land gave them the chance to.

Fire isn't fair. But fuel load is the one thing you control.

Fire Zone exists so your place has what ours had. Not luck. Preparation.

How It Works

Quote to done, no mucking about

1

Tell us about your block

Fill in the quote form. Address, block size, what's growing, what access is like. Takes a few minutes, photos help if you've got them.

2

We walk it with you

Brad comes out, looks at the actual property, and gives you a straight quote based on what's really there. No surprises later.

3

Done before the season

Booked in, knocked over, and your block goes into summer with the fuel down and the Shire off your back.

Summer doesn't wait.
Neither should the slashing.

Quotes are free, spring books out fast, and the best time to drop your fuel load is before everyone else remembers theirs.
